I’m the photographer behind DFW Headshot Haus.

I’ve been behind the camera for the past seven years, but storytelling has been part of my life for much longer. Before photography, I spent ten years as an educator, first as a teacher and later as a librarian. I’ve always been drawn to stories, the details that make them meaningful, and the people at the center of them.

That’s exactly how I approach photography.

When I’m behind the camera, I’m looking beyond the obvious. I’m noticing the little things—the way you laugh, the way you move, the details of an outfit, a favorite location, or the moment when you finally forget the camera is there. Those are the pieces that tell your story.

Your portraits should do more than show what you looked like right now. They should capture who you were, what made you you, and this little chapter of your story before you turn the page.
